Will we be seeing a future chapter cover their conversation about monogamy? Or has it already "just happened" with the close of the last chapter?

I'm sure that'll make a whole nother' Arc eventually.

(Though I don't know what an arc is, people just usually use it on webcomics, I'm assuming it's a term used for storyline sessions.)

An arc is typically a term used in serials, anime, and manga to describe a span of time that constitutes a single, continuous storyline that, in most cases, has a setup, conflict, climax, and resolution. Anime will typically consist of one to two arcs per seasion, and manga typically last through two to three before ending proper, with exceptions.
